Lobster Diver
"Give a person a lobster and you've fed him or her for a day. Teach a person to fish and you've fed him or her for a lifetime," goes the old saying.
It is as true today as it was hundreds of years ago.
The waters of the area abound with edible marine life, including the illustrious Homarus Americanas. We'll teach you everything you need to know to put a bountiful lobster feast on your family's table.
For instance, did you
know that lobsters take 6-8 years to reach legal size? Or that a
female lobster can hatch more than 100,000 lobster fry every other
year? How about the fact that lobsters never stop growing? Thus
becoming one of the largest crustaceans in the sea. Ah, that's just
lobster tech talk. We know you just want to catch em' and eat em'.
We'll be glad to show you how. It's a lot of fun!
While the tuition covers
only shore diving, you may request a boat dive for a minimal additional
fee. It's well worth it since the "big boys" are out a
little deeper.
